Coast of Death:
Throughout the day
a muffled sound of seagulls
beats in my ears.
Salferida sea to the marrow
my gills are filled
by salt air,
my bowels are filled with blue
and my hands will be doing rock.
The oleaxe all day behind me gemindo
ships still anchored Rosman
a song of old sailors.
Caiada treacherous mermaid
standing as a beacon silandeiro.
All day long in my eyes
surprised by the light rain of ash and death.
And all day and night.
------------------------------------------
All day
squawking gulls a bat in my ears.
sea Sprinkled through and through my gills
breathe the salty air, my heart
covered
blue and my hands are becoming rock.
All day the waves roaring at my back
lopsided vessels
even whisper a song of old sailors. Perfidious
stranded mermaid standing like a beacon silent.
All Day
my eyes dazzled by this light gray, rain and death.
And every day is night.
Mila Villanueva.
